Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend to take notes. Even though this is an introductory class, psychology is very intuitive and requires quite a bit of memorization in Prof. Beaman's class. I recommend not skipping class, for which you will be learning and gaining new information every class and don't want to fall behind. Take notes and do your best and you'll do well.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course for me was the class atmosphere. The class was ran in a very friendly yet structural style. It was very easy to want to learn in Prof. Beaman's class because of the teaching style used, making everyone feel welcomed and able to ask any question without feeling ridiculed.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Some advice I would give to a student considering this course is to read the class description and see if that sounds semi interesting to you. If it sounds even just a tad bit interesting, take the course. The prof. is great, the material is interesting, and the class in general is fairly easy.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because it very interesting and it is helpful in finding out if you would like to continue to pursue Psychology as your major. I have found that I really enjoy the class and that the information comes fairly easy for me to understand, so I have more peace of mind that this is the major that I need to be in!

    Course highlights:

You learn all the basics of Psychology, such as, Learning, Personality, Development, Memory, and many more broad topics. I really enjoyed learning these topics because they are interesting even if you are not majoring in Psychology. The class covers information that any student will be able to use in the future.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advice you to consider who your professor will be for the course. I have loved the professor that I have been given, but I have heard that some other professors are not nearly as good at relaying the information that the course covers. I think that the professor that you have effects a lot of how much you will enjoy the class itself.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Pretty easy, as long as you attend all classes and study the material.

    Course highlights:

I loved learning about Freud and his types of personality. I also loved learning about nature vs. nurture. Things that I could relate to my life were fun as well.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

As long as you attend all classes you will do great. Also, make sure you study before each exam. The study guides are very helpful. Also use quizlet.
