Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Beckers is an awesome teacher who is willing to work extra with students if they need it and keeps lecture interesting. She uses many visual examples to help explain the material which I found to be very helpful.

    Course highlights:

Professor Beckers is also the 'spider lady' so we learned a few things about spiders, evolution, photosynthesis, human digestion, cells, a small amount of chemistry, and much much more.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you're struggling or not good at biology in general talk to Professor Beckers, and consider getting a tutor. Use the textbook to help study for all the quizzes and tests.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is a general education course which is part of most students university studies. Backers is a very helpful professor who seems very willing to answer questions. He even modified his last test to make it more student friendly!

    Course highlights:

I learned more about biology and how to have good study habits. My favorite lecture from Beckers so far has been over nutrients our bodies use.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take good notes. You will get so much more out of the lectures if you take good notes, not just copy the slides in the presentation. Also, reading and taking notes over the textbook is very helpful, especially when you are having trouble understanding something in lecture.
