    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This course is a requirement in order to graduate. I really enjoyed this course because it was in the classroom observing and teaching up to three lessons. You are placed first into a classroom in the area of study. I was placed in fifth grade and then kindergarten. This was really helped with me knowing what grade level I wanted to teach in by having this course experience.

    Course highlights:

Being the teacher, leading the students. The students really looked up to you. The responsibility was placed on your hands. Getting to know the school system in which you were placed. Going to meetings at the school and district. This helped with gathering information about the school and district. The classroom experienced was great and I encourage others to take lots of notes, both positive and negative on how you can use in your own classroom someday.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

The advice I would give to you is to always treat each day like an adventure. You are learning still everyday. Take advice and criticism! Learning from your experience is the most important thing. Take notes daily on what you like and don't like. Getting to know the teachers and students and school environment is another thing that will take time but get to learn it and know it and you'll fit in in no time.
