    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course to students because it teaches how other cultures, races, religions, sexual orientations, gender, social class and others influence the world that we live in. How the media can shape the way that we see society and how it influences in the way that we treat others and what is acceptable by society and what is not. It is important to study sociology to be able to see these kind of points and what we can do to make a better future for the people to live in.

    Course highlights:

I learned the differences in gender, sex, and sexual orientation as well as the different historic events that made the world we live now what it is. I learned the different kinds of messages that authors show in their media to "teach" people how we are supposed to live and the roles we are supposed to play in society so people accept, but in reality they are messages that they want to teach you so you live the way they want you to live. It is such an interesting concept.

    Advice for students:

Pay attention to the professor and enjoy the class because it is a class that you will use in the rest of your life.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Definitely recommend because Boni Li is incredibly fair and teaches you with real-life examples.

    Course highlights:

I learned mainly about the three main sociological theories and how each of them apply to different topics, such as family, race, religion, education, etc.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Study. Her tests aren't the kind you can just cram before the day of the tests. Also, read her book as well as looking at notes.
