Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Salzman is a young professor who is very humorous in class but still delivers high quality information through lectures. The course consists of 3 exams and 2 issue papers. The exams are set up in a way that is understanding and in a way that if you study and put in the work you will receive the grade you deserve. The papers are a little difficult if you've never written one like it, however he is very useful and helpful to make sure you understand. He also gives you questions to guide you throughout the paper, not so bad!

    Course highlights:

Lectures! His personality is great and allows you to stay alert and learn while enjoying yourself. I have learned so much about my American political system. I have learned about the congress, federal government and how it functions, the states and their control, about voting and ballots. There is so much about our everyday lives we just don't know or realize and this class is pretty cool to show you that.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do your readings and take good notes in class. He always writes super important words on the board. Go to his office hours and meet him, introduce yourself, and form a connection. He always talks about how far that gets you in life and in professions.
