Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I learned a lot in this Medical Terminology course, not only about medical terms but detailed meanings of medical terms and the proper use of them. The medical language is fascinating and when it is broken down, is so much simpler than it first appears. It is basically building blocks, or parts of words that you can put together and build the most complicated medical term.

    Course highlights:

I learned more about anatomy in this class. It coincided with the anatomy and physiology class I was taking at the time. Being able to see the medical terms with the anatomy was very helpful. When you can visualize the terms, it helps you to see and remember the term. A lot of the terms sound like what they mean.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise anyone taking this course to stay on top of their course study work. Do not get behind. Each body system has it's certain terms that are important to learn before you move on to the next. There are some terms that are similar so it is important to understand the meanings and the difference between the body systems.
