Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Coady truly cares about his students and wants to help them succeed. He makes sure you have every bit of information you will need to study and pass the tests with ease if you just pay attention and give 100% effort.

    Course highlights:

This course teaches you all of the basics that an accountant needs to know. First being that accounting is the opposite of banking which was the hardest to wrap my head around. Once you understand that portion it's easy to determine how debits and credits work with the accounting equation.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The best piece of advice that I can give another student to succeed in this course is to take notes and read over all of the handouts that Professor Coady hands out each class. The hardest part of this class for me was remembering that banking and accounting are opposites. When you hear credit in accounting all it means is "right" and debit means "left". If you can get that down quickly then the rest of the course will be a breeze.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The teacher is great and really makes a lesson fun for the whole class.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the course was his old but funny jokes during a lesson or after as well but we still learned a lot from balancing a budget to accounting from a basic level to an advanced level by the end.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention to the teacher and most of the material is self explanatory from there.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This man changed my life. Up until I had him as a professor, I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life. After I took his class, I fell in love with accounting and knew what my calling in life was going to be.

    Course highlights:

I learned details on accounts receivable and payable, such as when to write off an account. I learned about inventory methods and depreciation. I learned the basics about the financial statements. I also learned how accounting applies to so many things in life, like buying a house or getting a credit card.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Come in with an open mind and be willing to take Mr. Roger's advice because he is full of good life experience.
