    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Professor Hamilton is overall five stars. This guy comes with respect, humor while still having enough knowledge in his field. As long as you pay attention in class, do the homework and recognize what you are reading you can easily pass this course. This course gained my confidence in my writing and editing skills. I would highly recommend.

    Course highlights:

As stated before the easy going professor is a huge part of this course. Peer editing groups are organized around your flexibility. You always feel comfortable in this class as Professor Hamilton makes sure of it. Easy and understandable homework assignments.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Just to pay attention, do homework, go to class and spend time getting to know your classmates.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The class was good and I definitely improved my writing in the end, but the writing prompts were not direct enough for me so it was hard to start writing a big essay. The topics were just too broad that it made the course difficult.

    Course highlights:

I learned more ways to improve my writing and fixed some issues I would always do when writing. I would never tell every detail and just assume the reader knew what I was talking about, so I fixed that in the end. I also would sometimes write in past and present tense so I fixed that mistake by the end as well.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

To ask him directly what you need to fix because he will tell you and to work hard and give it 100% effort.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The Professor really loves what she teaches and had great tips and writing techniques. For a non-English lover like me, I really enjoyed the course.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to research, I learned how to write an effective research paper and I learned how to also cite properly.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to attend every class. If you're not going to take the course seriously, don't take it. Be prepared to write.
