Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course was one of the best course I took before transferring from UofL. The professor was excellent and made me want to learn. The way the class was taught was fun and engaging. There was not a lot of work load but when there was work it was work that benefitted you.

    Course highlights:

I gained insight the the different problems different cultures faced in their day to day lives. You focused on issues that were in the light today, not issues that were happening when we weren't even alive yet which made it more relate-able.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you do the homework when given and pay attention, there is no way you shouldnt get an A.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Incredibly energetic teacher. Prof. Johmann is incredibly knowledgeable and has a very direct teaching style that many people really appreciate. Be prepared to read ever day, but the selections are insightful and he does a wonderful job of relating the lessons and readings to modern times. He asks us to assess our own lives and opens the mind to the hardships of other groups and periods in time.

    Course highlights:

I learned so much about both American culture and the relation of our culture with other nations. He does a great job relating this to the students in his class. One of the best things about Prof Johmann is that he always has office hours and is willing to meet with students for essays and lessons.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

DO YOUR READINGS. There are small, five point quizzes almost every class and they add up quickly, but they are easy if you read.
