Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course not only lets you study real life economic problems in engineering, it also gives you practical concepts to help guide you in personal finance. I plan on keeping my book for personal reference in the future.

    Course highlights:

Before this course, I thought that I would study practical engineering applications to what I learned in microeconomics and macroeconomics. Yes, we did do that, but I also got a lot more. I learned HOW engineers make decisions. Not only do economic and accounting principles play into a decision, but ethical consequences must be considered as well.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Always ask questions! The instructor is willing to help if you ask. He is reasonable as long as you put the work in. I mentioned it below, but read the chapters before you try the homework. It helps a great deal, and it will give you reference for the exams. Finally, this course will greatly help you if you are considering becoming a Professional Engineer. It will prepare you for the economics portion of the exam.
