    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Lectures do not help - Tested on content not covered in lectures

    Course highlights:

Dr. Powe is easy to talk to and easy to like

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Maybe try Dr. Franco - Dr. Powe isn't HORRIBLE - but she isn't great

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It was a good class however the professor didn't really engage the whole class. The number of students can be overwhelming too.

    Course highlights:

The highlights were probably just relearning some high school concepts and getting ready for Chem 2.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure that you put the time into this class outside of the lecture.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I took this course with Dr. Noble. You should too since he wrote the textbook. You really need yo read the textbook before the lecture, and completely learn it. The final was awful, so keep up with the material. The End of Chapter problems are used heavily for the tests. Good luck!

    Course highlights:

I loved his experiments. He truly enjoys what he is teaching, and that is not common for chemistry professors.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study, Study, Study! Read every word of the book.
