Limits, derivatives. Knowing the limits and the derivatives is a main part of the course.

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Really pay attention to the homework. The test will reflect what you do on your homework.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Calculus 1 with the professor I had was tough. There was a language barrier, so he was hard to understand. My professor assumed we had taken a calculus class before, so he didn't go over a lot of the basics on how to solve problems. In many instances, he would skip steps when solving a problem because he assumed we already knew how to do the step or steps he skipped.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to find derivatives and evaluate hard problems. I did enjoy learning about calculus, but I think the class I was in could've been taught better.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you look into every professor that teaches this course, so you find the one that best suits you. If you are struggling to grasp the information, attend office hours and go to tutoring.
