Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

If you're going for nursing, you don't have a choice to take it or not take the course because it's a requirement. This class was a little difficult for me because I wasn't the best at chemistry but Dr. Hoyt helped a bunch. She recorded every class and posted it on tegrity so when I was studying I could go back and listen to the parts I was confused over.

    Course highlights:

I learned many things. I learned the general basis of chemistry and it has helped me in my nutrition class I am in now.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure this course is a priority. You will have to study a while and focus hard and have will power.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The teacher was passionate about teaching and was able to explain difficult topics in a way that was easy to understand.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot of chemistry that goes on in the human body, from pH of the blood to how proteins were arranged. This will help as I progress through my nursing degree.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Never skip classes. She goes over topics not in the book and includes them on the test.
