    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would only reccommend this course to those of you who are willing to work hard for your grade. Yes, there are a ton of assignments and tests to complete, however Dr. Mathews will do everything in his power to help you gain understanding and knowledge. If you are a procrastinator, then there will be plenty of late nights for you.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was definitely Dr. Mathews' high energy and obvious knowledge when explaining the lesson. I learned so many skills in relations to composing business documents and letters. This is a course that I will never forget.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

You definitely have to be on top of things for this class. There are plenty of major assignments that you will have to complete. This class is definitely not for slackers. The actual requirements of the assignments were not the issue for me. It is the amount if assignments that we were given that took a toll on me. No assignment is going to be a walk in the park. They will all be lengthy and require thorough explanations. Be ready to recieve an assignment or take a test almost every class meeting. Also, always take notes. It will seem like the amount of notes written on the board is impossible, but I promise you will need those notes in the future. Nothing you do in the class is in vain. There will be times that you feel like you are swamped with work and on the verge of a break down, but you can do it. I pushed myself to do my best and I received an A at the end of the semester.
