Not too easy. Not too difficult.
The overall course is good. The reading is easy and the homework load is what you would expect from Grantham (Discussion Forum, Test or Paper). In this case, the tests are interspersed and are all paragraph style test. My first test I received a 77% and it took the rest of the semester and the Deans office to find out why my answers that were directly from the book were graded so low. The instructor, is nice, but his expectations are not clearly defined and he expects more than what is asked in the assignments. This tends to make it difficult to get an "A" grade. My suggestion is to contact him immediately and ask for full expectations. Also, this course has quite a bit of writing. The 75-150 work request tends to be closer to 350-500 words, and there are three papers required (2x 2-3 pagers and a 3-4 pager) If you plan on using Course Hero or any other paper writing resource, be careful.
This is a great course to get a general understanding of how city government works and the expectations of the positions that are occupied. Make certain though you pay attention to the instructors verbiage in the assignment, it is really important to read it a couple of times and even to ask the instructor his interpretation of the assignment.

Advice for students:
He uses multiple plagiarism check sites to determine if you are cheating. I used a course hero paper for a statement. Because it wasn't a published item, I got hit with 35% plagiarism and was given a 67% grade on that paper. If you take your time and do your due diligence, you will do fine and get a great grade.
