    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because in the the acquisition of knowledge surrounding the skeletal, muscular, and nervous system is extensive. However, there is a lot of memorization that goes on in the class, so it is one that requires a lot of studying.

    Course highlights:

I learned more about the nervous system than I ever had before.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read over the blue boxes in the textbook throughly and do the study guides that are provided to you for each of the tests.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I recommend taking this course after a year of experiencing college. I took this course my freshman year, and I don't believe that I was fully adjusted to college.

    Course highlights:

You will be bombarded with information. It is not by any means an easy course. It is tough material, and the professor, Mrs. Sheehan, will not give you grades. She makes sure that her students earn every point she offers. LA Tech is a quarter system and that means one word: QUICK. You must make sure you stay on top of everything and don't skip class.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I encourage every student that takes this class to study, study, and STUDY. Study when you think you know the information backwards and forwards. Mrs. Sheehan expects you to KNOW your stuff, not just simply memorize to pass the test. She is a great teacher because she knows what she is talking about, and she expects her students to know the material as well. If you're not an organized person, I also encourage you to practice being organized for this class because it is easy to fall behind with so much information being thrown at you.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

As a biology major, this course helped me learn the basis of what I will need for medical school and beyond. Mrs. Sheehan helped me understand concepts that were once confusing to me. Furthermore, it helped me become even more sure that being a doctor is something that I want to pursue.

    Course highlights:

The lab (which is not required for my major) was definitely a highlight. It was very helpful with the course and also very interesting. Also, the class periods in general were very interesting. Her lectures were short and to the point, while also being easy to understand.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be sure to do her questions from the back of the book and read over her notes. Don't skip class and always study for the tests and the quizzes.
