    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

As an avid reader of languages and culture, this standard Chinese class is my world! 姜老师 is a native Chinese and brings so much to the table for my classmates and me. She is patient, encouraging, and everything else a student would want in a teacher. The actual material learned is taught gradually so students can fully understand before moving along. After taking this course, I want to travel to China even more!

    Course highlights:

Not only will students in this class learn Chinese, they will become better speakers of English too. I am fascinated by my strengthened grasp on my native tongue. In return, the new Chinese material will be easier for you to learn because you understand your first language more. Learning languages is a huge cycle!

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

I do not recommend this course to students who are not interested in learning Chinese. This is not a blow-off class. To those who strongly consider this course, you will love it! The input from 姜老师 (Teacher Jiang) makes the class such a unique experience. Be prepared to get moving and reviewing the material given each day. Languages are meant to be used daily, so practice as much as possible or you will lose what you have learned!
