Not too easy. Not too difficult.
The course was very memory based and focused mainly on later history. It was also a very heavy lecture based class; not everyone liked that. Dr. Hardy was a huge lecturer but you HAVE to take notes in order to get an A in his class as most of the time he wants more in depth answers than just the ones he has an in his power points, he wants us to know what he says. Overall it's a good course.
I learned about how to put together bits of information and view them in a bigger picture. The way this course was taught sort of bounced around to different country's history, however, in the end the history of all the different countries was brought together.

Advice for students:
To do well in this course you need to take good notes, do his study guide (in depth), actually study the study guide, and talk to him; if you don't these things you won't do too well.
