    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This is the best course I've taken to date. Dr. Howard is so intelligent, but also personable. She made you want to know what we were studying, and I came out of that class a better student.

    Course highlights:

By no means was it an easy course, I worked my butt off to pass, but it was so rewarding. First of all, the subject matter increases one's empathy and understanding of struggles of marginalized peoples, and the way the class was designed helps the student to be able to argue and defend on a point that he/she would want to make.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You have to read. And you have to care. But it is so worth it and rewarding.
