    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

First of all, you have to take it. There's no way around it. However, if you get the chance to take it with Lueder, do it. She's great. At least in my opinion.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of that course was learning FOIL (First Outside Inside Last) for multiplying polynomials. I think it was the thing we spent the most time on.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I think the best advice I can give you is to try not to just pass the class. You need at least a "C" to pass, but I would try to go for a "B" or higher. This will help you in the long run if you have to take another math (which you most likely will). After all, it is the first, most basic math course offered by a university that's not remedial.

    This class was tough.

This course is required but I do not recommend taking it with Calbeck.

    Course highlights:

i learned that i needed to take another prof.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

if taking Calbeck study hard and learn the homework problems

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

She's a great teacher and explains everything so well

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot of about algebra. The main thing I learned is how to work out word problems

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention and go to class every day
