    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I enjoyed having the professors work together and switch back and forth in lecture after chapters because that way we had more than one method of listening to lecture.

    Course highlights:

You start from the bottom of biology and work your way up. They both have a passion for what they teach so it is an enjoyable understandable class.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Review your notes after lecture. Review review. Study study study study study. I can. It say that enough if you don't understand what's going on, ask because the exams aren't easy.

I took this class a few years ago and we learned about many aspects of algae, bacteria, fungi, etc. It is interesting to learn details about organisms you don't normally think about.

    Hours per week:

    Advice for students:

Make sure to do the reading and take notes in class. For the lab, it is also important that you keep your notebook up to date so that you don't have to rush at the end to complete it.
