    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Unfortunately, this class is a requirement for all Mathematics students on campus. It is extremely difficult to grasp the concepts, but the professor makes time to help his students. He offers an extra help session as well as extended office hours. Previous exams are provided before a current exam to use as a study guide and test corrections are offered to boost poor exam grades.

    Course highlights:

This course forced me to think more critically about math. I was forced to forget about my previous ways of thinking about math to develop a more professional mode of thinking about the material.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are considering this course, you probably have to take it. Study hard and ask intelligent questions during class. Getting a tutor will also be extremely helpful to support you through this course.
