    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This teacher has a good sense of humor, and he is extremely understanding. He is willing to work with individuals on due dates and any special circumstances that may occur. He is an easy grader, and he offers any help with essays you may need. He prepares you really well for the proficiency exam at the end of the semester.

    Course highlights:

MLA format was stressed tremendously in this class. This was an area I really improved upon in this class. I was also able to learn how to write better essays, and I was able to communicate my ideas better. Giving a presentation became much easier after this class, and it helped prepare me for my communications class.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

When taking this course I would advise students to not wait until the last minute to write their essays. I would also recommend reading any assigned material and focus on MLA format.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I loved Mrs. Rourke! She was so sweet, and understanding. This was my first semester in college, and she strived to make sure we were comfortable. Any questions we had she answered, some numerous times and in different ways, anything she could think of to help us understand the assignments! I would take her for any class given the opportunity!

    Course highlights:

During this course, I learned proper MLA format, acceptable college essay structure and how to professionally communicate with my professor.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The course is mandatory, the teacher is not. You can choose any teacher you'd like but I would recommend this one to any student who thinks they still need guidance adjusting to being in college. She really is extremely helpful and motivating!
