    This class was tough.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course. Using the program MathXL is extremely easy to learn and use. I especially love how, throughout the program, you are continuously experiencing the same topics, but in different instances so as to really understand the topic.

    Course highlights:

I learned the basics of trigonometry, the especially important unit circle, and basic logarithmic functions. A lot of things I learned in College Algebra really helped me in eventually progressing to Calculus AB.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would suggest actually completing the quizzes given, they really help to prepare you for the upcoming tests. Also, the practice tests are so important!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I took this class as a dual enrollment class at Zachary High and this class really helped me get prepared of what college math tests would look like. It is hard to get used to everything being on the computer but overall I love the atmosphere. It helps me pace myself because it gives due dates in advanced.

    Course highlights:

It is hard to figure out how you want to pace yourself. Sometimes you have weeks where several assignments are due on the same day so you have to set time aside to get those things done.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Some advice I would give is to do everything until you a 100. Ask as many questions you need until you understand the material because all it does is build onto the next unit. Also, do as many practice tests as you can and do not get lazy. Do not suffer with getting a 95% on a homework assignment because you didn't want to do the problem again.
