Course Overview:
I think I would have loved the course if I would have had a better teacher. I could not get the notes because I could not see the board and she wasn't sympathetic at all.
Course highlights:
My favorite part of the course was the lattice problems. We learn to work different division problems and lattice problems. We reviewed Venn diagrams. It was simple and fun stuff to learn.

Advice for students:
Have fun working the problems. Working the problems help you learn. It's simple elementary math problems to little more advanced level. Just find a great professor. If you love math, you'll love this course.

This course is a pretty simple course with a lot of online math. There are also many in class, group projects and tons of oportunities for points.
Course highlights:
The group projects were the highlights for me. After every few chapters there is a group project that is always pretty interesting.

Make sure you can do mental math. You can not use a calculator.

First, make sure you actually need this course for your major: it is not a normal math. Secondly, it is a lot of individual, computer work so make sure to keep up with that.
