    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

    explains the basics of chemistry

    Course highlights:

we learned about moles, chemical reactions, thermochemistry, light, and orbitals

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't just take notes from the lecture, read the textbook. Also, even if the homework isn't collected, do it for the practice.

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

There are barely any tests the whole semester and the ones given are very hard. Most people fail, and the teacher is not very good at teaching. Since we aren't tested much the whole semester, the tests we do have go really badly.

    Course highlights:

Don't really think there are highlights. I learned how important it is to be tested frequently, and if not by your teacher, than you the student must take initiative and stay on top of your studying and test yourself.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do all practice problems and even problems from other teachers that you can get from your friends in other classes. Read the textbook. Go to tutoring.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would not recommend this course because this professor is the absolute worst. He only reads off of slides and he does not answer questions in class or in office hours.

    Course highlights:

I truly do not think I learned much from this course, and I barely passed with a C. This was one of the worst courses that I have ever taken.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Some advice would be to go to the tutoring center and SI sessions. Also work with fellow classmates who understand the material.
