Not too easy. Not too difficult.

Good basic class for Art History Majors. The class covers different cultures and time periods.

    Course highlights:

I really enjoyed learning about the newer time periods of art, and it was a very visual and informative class!

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

You should definitely do the readings, and use the powerpoints from class to study for the tests.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The course was focused on thematic ideas of art history, not just memorization of dates and names.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to perform in-depth visual analyses and I also learned how to see and talk about art in a broader context, outside of just what it looks like.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Be sure to start studying the assigned artworks ahead of time, it takes a little while to memorize all the titles!

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Delia was an amazing teacher, whose passion for art history spread to me through her fun and informative class. I'm now minoring in art studio/history because of how much her class impacted me.

    Course highlights:

I now have a fairly in-depth understanding of renaissance-present art canon pieces, and am able to analyze other art pieces.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Get to know Prof Solomons, she's amazing.
