Not too easy. Not too difficult.
The course information is really interesting and asks you to view the world in a different way. I left the class much more open-minded and aware of mindsets that were particularly destructive towards global minorities.
I loved learning about how anthropologists have to do field work. We distinguished between field work that allowed the anthropologist to be completely enveloped in the culture and research that required that the anthropologist keep his or her own culture in mind. The concept of minimizing cultural comparison really opened my mind, as did our study of different cultural norms.

Advice for students:
At least with my professor, we did a lot of reading. I recommend always reading the articles she gives you, as she will discuss them in class, and they are truly interesting. I learned the most about a chapter when I actually read the material. I would not take this class if you have a particularly unmoving, ethnocentric view.
