Not too easy. Not too difficult.

Kappel is an awesome teacher. His lectures are very interesting and uses real-world examples that are easy to relate to.

    Course highlights:

If you take notes in class and fill out his study guides before the test, you will be in good shape. He makes his lectures very clear.

    Advice for students:

Go to class. He gives you the benefit of the doubt at the end of the semester if you attend most classes.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This was by far the most interesting class I have ever taken in my life! The study of deviant behavior is an area in which I had never really learned about before which is why I loved the class so much. I learned so much new information about prominent 'deviant' groups in the US which, trust me, makes for a very entertaining class.

    Course highlights:

One highlight definitely was the teacher. Rob Kappel makes every class enjoyable and interesting. I never wanted to look at my phone because he was constantly teaching us new, exciting information. The class focuses on individuals, groups, and/or social actions that go against societal norms.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Not a hard class at all, but you learn and gain a lot from it! Definitely go to class and make sure you fill out the entire study guide he makes for you before taking the exam!
