Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend Ms. Patti Pangborn for anyone taking ENGL 102 because she is an amazing professor and she makes sure that the information she teaches gets through to everyone and she makes sure all questions are answered and no one is left behind.

    Course highlights:

I gained the ability to push myself to go beyond average to succeed. This course helped challenge me to push forward even if I wanted to stop. Coming out with an excellent grade that was earned due to my desire to push myself beyond my limits left me feeling like an amazing individual in the end.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would tell anyone in this course to stay focused. It is easy to shift your focus with all the distractions and road blocks present, but paying attention and applying yourself the best way you know how will make all the difference.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend Ms. Richardson's English class to anyone looking for an energetic, spontaneous professor who's more than accommodating when it pertains to assignments and time management. She truly cares about her student's success, and on a college campus with more than 18,000 students, that quality is extremely rare.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this class were the presentations and group work, undoubtedly. The encouraged group work promoted teamwork which was quite essential, both in the completion of assignments and the creation of new friendships. Simultaneously, the presentations served as an introduction to public speaking and comfort in the presence of a crowd. Professor Richardson definitely helped me better my writing skills and the overall production of my papers.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Attendance is an invaluable asset. If you don't show up for class, although there's a calendar on the Moodle website indicating what is scheduled to happen in class, it's hard to stay abreast of any in class assignments/notes that may be missed if you're absent. There was very minimal reading involved in the course, however, the reading that was assigned was conducive to the lessons being taught.
