Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Mire is the most helpful and accommodating professor I have ever met. She is kind and genuinely wants each of her students to succeed. She explains everything in a way that makes it applicable to appropriate scenarios. For students who do not particularly enjoy science, she will certainly change your perspective. I most definitely recommend Dr. Mire to any and all students.

    Course highlights:

This course was an overview of Biology from chemical compounds to cell structure and processes to a few organ systems. It is a "skin in" course, meaning that what is studied consists of the internal aspect of animals, such as internal chemicals, processes, and structure.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

GO TO CLASS! The best way to learn the material is to be present in class and to pay attention to the lecture material. It is not easy, but success is achievable if the student maintains participation and interest in the course.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is a challenge. And Dr. Mire-Watson is there to help you in every way. She doesn't give you anything; you need to earn it. Yes her class is a lot of time and hard work, but it's worth it in the end.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about cellular biology. We learned a lot of the small stuff (cells, polymers, monosaccharides, transcription, protein synthesis, etc.).

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Get ready to study. This class isn't the type you can just wing it and hope for a good grade. This class requires time, and if you're not willing to put in the effort, then you're going to have a rough semester.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course to anyone who wants to further their education in science. This class is very educational and hands-on.

    Course highlights:

By taking this course, I have learned about many things throughout the body. For example, I have learned about how a genetically modified organism works. I have also participated in many labs ranging from observing cells to figuring out pedigrees.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise anyone to study any textbooks for biology. Early knowledge of the body can help a person grasp any lesson given throughout this course.
