    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it strengthened skills that I have learned and developed previously. It also exposed me to new ways to write papers and research topics.

    Course highlights:

My favorite part of this course was the novels that we were expected to read. I would not have been exposed to stories like the Old Man and the Sea, by Ernest Hemingway, if I had not taken this course. However, some parts of the course and their requirements are not quite as I would have set them if I were a teacher. Still, I gained valuable experience from this class.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure that you follow all requirements as specified in the instructions.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course was very well planned out for us. I was a junior in high school and this was the first college course I had taken (aside from English 101 in the fall). I was very nervous about the course, but it all worked out. I came out with a satisfying feeling and grade.

    Course highlights:

From taking this course, I gained a greater understanding and appreciation for writing. Essays has always been a strong point of mine throughout school, but this course took it to a new level. I gained a great amount of knowledge as far as the content expectations that were set forth through this course.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared. Be efficient. Don't procrastinate.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

She is an awesome professor who really makes English interesting! Definitely recommend taking her.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to go more in depth with analysis. How to discuss matters and still give my view professionally. Also how to write a interesting paper, something I was never good at.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely go to class. It can only help you if you show up. The Write Place is your best friend when it comes to needing help on a paper.
