Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It gives you essential insight into the foundations of chemistry, and enables you to solve many general problems concerning basic materials.

    Course highlights:

I learned the foundational principles of matter, and gained an understanding of the experiments that led to essential discoveries. I learned how to use unit conversion tables to answer most conceptual questions that involve mathematics in a very straightforward way.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

First of all, read the textbook. These concepts are the ground that you will build on in your future, and integrating the knowledge into your understanding of the universe will pay off immensely in your future courses. Second of all, master conversion tables; don't be lazy. 80% of this class can be simplified to a set of conversion factors that you are learning to have at your mathmatical disposal. The concepts are important, and enable you to easily store these conversion factors, but knowing how to manipulate them for your benefit in a conversion table will make the "getting the correct answer" part, virtually effortless.
