Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because it helped me dive into mathematics deeper by being able to understand more than what is taught in geometry, algebra, and pre-calculus. This course helped me visualize the algebraic formulas better and I felt as if I was using my tools to figure out the material in this course. If you are majoring in engineering and/or computer science, you will most-likely love this course and it will not be too complicated.

    Course highlights:

This course helped me love math even more. Mr. Cory Dumesnil did a great job at facilitating the material in this course, and if you can, try to look for a professor who explains everything in detail, has available office hours, is patient, concerned about your grade and progress in the class, gives partial credit on tests, and someone you can easily pay attention to. All of these qualities were met by Mr. Cory Dumesnil. The material usually covered in Calculus includes derivatives, limits, lines and curves, surface area, algebraic functions, etc.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Meet with professor after hours. Start homework early and preferably with a tutor. Pay much attention in class. Study for a test 1-2 weeks in advance. Enjoy the class. Read the textbook and do lots of different practice problems. After learning something new, pass it on - teaching what you learned helps it stick longer.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This professor is very good! he really helped me understand the subject as well as help me do well on his exams.

    Course highlights:

This course has forced me to think a certain way and forced me to be more methodical in my problem solving process.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Be ready to work very hard if you want to do well. If you are not very strong in this subject you will have to work even harder to succeed. But if you have any problems in the class, the professor will go out of his way to help you.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend taking this course. The professor is one of the best math teachers I've ever had. He does grade hard, but he tells you exactly what he wants in class. He makes a point to tell you what he expects of you.

    Course highlights:

I have learned a lot about proper notation. The professor is very big on notation and the proper way of writing out problems. I feel confident going into Calculus II. I'm definitely signing up for his class in the spring.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Do homework every night. Keep up with the lecture. Everyday do the textbook homework for the lecture notes then do EWA. You will be more successful on the online homework if you do the textbook homework first. Take good notes. His lecture notes are a lot easier to understand than the textbook notes.
