Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

She was easy and cooperative. She made sure all of our questions and confusions were answered before moving onto the next lesson.

    Course highlights:

I learned the importance of seeing professors during their office hours. She would practically give you a cheat sheet on how to get an A.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the homework and she will work with you for your final grade.

    Course Overview:

Calc 1 is so much fun, and Cory is the greatest teacher. He makes problems interesting but keeps the math simple and applicable.

    Course highlights:

    Derivatives, limits, and simple integrations.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do a bunch of practice problems over and over again. You will probably see one of them on the test.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because it helped me dive into mathematics deeper by being able to understand more than what is taught in geometry, algebra, and pre-calculus. This course helped me visualize the algebraic formulas better and I felt as if I was using my tools to figure out the material in this course. If you are majoring in engineering and/or computer science, you will most-likely love this course and it will not be too complicated.

    Course highlights:

This course helped me love math even more. Mr. Cory Dumesnil did a great job at facilitating the material in this course, and if you can, try to look for a professor who explains everything in detail, has available office hours, is patient, concerned about your grade and progress in the class, gives partial credit on tests, and someone you can easily pay attention to. All of these qualities were met by Mr. Cory Dumesnil. The material usually covered in Calculus includes derivatives, limits, lines and curves, surface area, algebraic functions, etc.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Meet with professor after hours. Start homework early and preferably with a tutor. Pay much attention in class. Study for a test 1-2 weeks in advance. Enjoy the class. Read the textbook and do lots of different practice problems. After learning something new, pass it on - teaching what you learned helps it stick longer.
