    | No strong feelings either way.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

My particular professor lacked clarity and had several tangents during her lectures.

    Course highlights:

The course covered a wide variety of basic knowledge in biology.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the textbook for clarity of information covered in lecture and online notes. Also, learn each module well enough so that you will be able to articulate what you have learned to others.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Boutte teaches from the top of his head. He speaks directly to the class, treats you with respect, and is easy to talk to. He is very helpful when you take advantage of his office hours. He wishes the best for his students and is a great professor all around.

    Course highlights:

I really enjoyed listening as he simplified concepts into terms that students can understand more easily. Also, I enjoyed his extra credit opportunities, and that while I was in class if I had a question I was not intimidated to raise my hand and ask it. I learned about many concepts of basic biology, including aerobic respiration, photosynthesis, cellular reproduction, and more.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study every day and become a regular visitor in the biology resource center. Also, visit Dr. Boutte's office hours and personally ask him for help if you have a question. Memorization is the key to success in this course.
