    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course was extremely difficult. If you fall behind in the beginning you will be lost for the entire course. "Accounting is a building sport," my professor always said.

    Course highlights:

A highlight from this course is that it will apply to your adult life. You will be able to make sense of a lot of things after learning what accounting has to offer. Accounting is especially beneficial to Business and Marketing majors too.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

This course taught me that as a student, sometimes you have to take your work into your own hands. This means teaching yourself the material, doing extra work on top of mandatory assignments, as well as seek outside help. Sometimes merely going to class is not enough.

    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This is a challenging class, but it challenges you in a way that forces you to learn the material and really understand the way it works. She is a great professor who goes out of her way to help you succeed. Read ahead and take good notes. There's a lot of homework, but actually take the time to sit down and learn the material, it will help on the tests.

    Course highlights:

I now really understand budgeting and how businesses on all levels treat their spending. Being able to visualize a balance sheet, and how purchases on credit effect companies financially is a great skill for the future, even if only for your own banking purposes.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't go in expecting it to be easy, but expect the work to be worth it in the long run. This class lays the foundation for many other classes in the program. Just sit down and do the work.
