    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is very difficult and complex in regards to the cellular level. However the metabolic pathway learned in this course are very important to know for future advanced biology courses.

    Course highlights:

Learning lab skills like running gels and performing cell cultures are the highlight of this coarse. I learned a lot of essential lab skills for future lab courses. I have learned about the basics to cellular pathways and maintenance of the cell, which has been very helpful in my other courses.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The first few chapters to the coarse are very important. You must understand basic molecules within the cell in order to thoroughly understand their function. Buy a mini white board to practice writing down the pathways. She will ask you to draw out everything on exams. Rewrite or study your notes as soon as you can after lecture. This will help you remember the material.
