Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course will forever be one that stands out to me from my undergrad years. Professor Verdon was one of the most intelligent and articulate instructors I ever had, but he had a way of letting the student guide themselves in many ways.

    Course highlights:

I learned the foundations of the art of persuasion and the ways in which rhetoric are intertwined into our every day lives. Things that I had not yet considered were realized in this course, and it was the first memory I have that piqued my interest in speech writing.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be thorough, creative, and think out of the box. Verdon appreciates students who take everything they can for a class they are paying to be a part of. Don't just do enough work to slide by, do everything you can to make yourself stand out and build a relationship with this professor.
