Balcolm teaches calculus in a new and exciting way. He keeps students engaged and curious about what they're learning. He encouraged students to take charge and ask questions and use their own minds to think of explanations for methods we already knew to be accurate.
I learned that practice makes perfect. The assignments given to you help to reinforce what was taught in class, and if you do the work on time you won't need to study for any quizzes or exams.

Do the homework assignments when they are assigned, and do them thoroughly. If you have a question on one of the problems circle it only after you've tried as many methods as you can think of. Always try to figure these things out before you ask for the answer.
