    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It is a hard course, however, it is so helpful. Even if someone is not pursuing a degree in science, taking an anatomy and physiology course would be an excellent endeavor as it is a helpful tool to live a healthier life.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course for me include: the feeling of accomplishment, the discipline it instilled, and the knowledge I learned about the human body and the complex processes all the way down to the microscopic level that are constantly taking place and changing in the body.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the text book everyday. Even just for 30 minutes. Take advantage of all the practice tests, they are extremely helpful and often times many of the questions appear on the real exam.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It is required course. I took the online version and struggled significantly. The labs are all done thru Mastering A&P. It is much better to have a hands on lab.

    Course highlights:

This was a difficult course. I learned about several different body systems. Study Study Study! It will make all of the different in your grade!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take it in the actual classroom! The online version is hard. There teacher feedback is limited. In the classroom you have time to ask all of your questions...especially regarding lab!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

She was a great professor. Very passionate about her job, and helpful, answered any questions we had along the way and incorporated her own life experience.

    Course highlights:

I loved the hand's on learning experience, getting to dissect things, and check out slides under the microscope.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to read ahead of each class - meaning the lab exercises and the lecture text book. It will help with the lab because most of it is hands on stuff, no lecture.
