$Difference between scalar and a vector $
Scalar quantity is a physical quantity which tells us about only magnitude of the quantity unlike a vector quantity which is a physical quantity that not only tells us about the magnitude of the quantity but also gives us the direction in which the quantity is directed.
$EXAMPLE $
Scalar quantity : Mass, temperature, speed etc.
Vector quantity : Velocity, force, acceleration etc.
