What is platform neutrality?

Verified Answer

Platform neutrality is the capability of a network to interconnect devices running on multiple heterogeneous platforms.

The devices connected by network might be a personal computer, mobile device such as smartphones, tablet,  or it can be devices such as routers, printers, fax machines and so forth.

The devices which are interconnected to form a network use different operating systems and protocols but still they will be able to communicate with one another.
