Hi I have a question regarding a quiz question.
The question asks:
If a blood cell (.9% NaCl) is placed in a 4% NaCl solution what will occur
d) cell will remain unchanged
the answer is listed as crenation but I am not understanding why because if the solution the blood cell is placed in has a higher concentration of NaCl, wouldn't it try to make the blood cell the same concentration resulting in lysis?
