Examine the United States Constitution and the constitutions of Oregon and one other state of your

choosing. Don't analyze them separately: answer Question 1 for all three, then Question 2, and so forth.

1. How are they organized? Don't tell me they are organized into articles and sections - tell me about the organization of the subject matter of the articles and/or sections; ignore the preambles, articles describing state boundaries, and articles adopting the US Constitution. Do you think the order of the articles might tell you something about how the drafters of the constitutions felt about the priority of the subjects addressed by the articles? Explain. Don't simply provide a list of the constitutional provisions!
