Mr. Silvino He made up his mind to operate the business when his friend, a civil engineer, complained about the unavailability of concrete products in the area which are of standard quality.
With a $ 50,000.00 starting capital, Mr. Villena proceed to produce concrete hallow blocks, culverts, decorative blocks, etc. Because of good quality control, his products surpassed the requirements of buyers. His sales increased considerably even if his selling prices are a little higher than those of competitors.
The firm soon grew to a multi million dollar operation.His market covered the entire province of Nueva Ecija. Mr. Villena's success happened right in the eyes of his administrative staff, which since then, has the impression that success is not a hard thing to achieve.
However, he neglected his concrete products business and soon his employees resigned one after the other. After leaving the firm, his production assistant, Mr. Dungo made attempts to duplicate the feat of his former boss in the concrete products manufacturing.
Mr. Dungo was not successful anyway, and he is now in deep thought considering what his next move should be.
