Last week, you submitted a proposal for the design of a two-day workshop to train managers on how to use effective feedback skills when delivering one-on-one performance reviews to employees. Design a 15-20 slide PowerPoint presentation that would be used in this training workshop (excluding the title and reference slides). Use the features of PowerPoint to effectively present the material to managers. Create a professional visual using various design elements, such as: background, color, font style, animations, transitions, audio, images, etc. Include approximately 50 words of speaker notes on each slide (a total of approximately 750-1,000 words). These notes are the a facilitator’s script. Identify at least three specific learning objectives for this training (making any necessary modifications to the learning objectives that were submitted in the proposal last week).

Your introductory slide must include a clear and concise description of the training. Your presentation must also include citations and references from the Blanchard and Thacker (2013) text and at least three additional scholarly sources. Your final submission should include: 1) the PowerPoint with facilitator notes, and 2) a comprehensive APA-formatted Word transcript of all slide notes/ facilitator’s script (a total of approximately 750-1,000 words), including a reference page.

There is a very important role of managers and supervisors in terms of employees' performance management. However, an important part of the employee performance management depends on their performance review and feedback. Without eFective review and feedback process e±cient performance management is not possible. In this regard it is essential that the managers have the required skills for managing employee performance through feedback skills. However, the main issue is that often the managers fail at providing eFective feedback to the employees. It is why the management has decided to use a two day training workshop to impart training to the managers with regard to eFective use of feedback skills when delivering one to one performance reviews. The training will be imparted at a physical location diFerent from their workplace and large enough to hold 100 or more people conveniently. Modern tools and techniques will be used to impart training successfully. Speci²cally the learning objectives of this workshop are as follows:- a. helping managers understand the importance of feedback. b. Improve their feedback skills. c. improve communication between managers and employees. The management has felt the need for an eFective performance management system and in this regard the need for an appropriate feedback mechanism has been identi²ed. feedback to help manage their performance. Lectures, case studies as well as role playing will be used to help the managers understand how they can provide eFective feedback to their employees. Lectures will be used to teach the managers regarding the use of skills like active listening skills, focussing etc. Case studies will be used to highlight the importance of communication and feedback in work settings, as well as e±cient and eFective methods of feedback. Through role playing and case studies the managers will learn how to keep a positive tone while giving feedback. The best setting for the training workshop would be a large hall, large enough to hold more than 100 people conveniently. To conduct training workshops eFectively, there is also a need of advanced equipments so lectures, case studies, training videos can all be delivered eFectively before the audience. there would be a requirement of training material and equipments which will aid the delivery of the training modules. In this regard a workshop support team should remain ready to provide with the necessary material required to conduct the workshop without any hindrances. The support team will take care of the conference site as well as meals, breaks and accommodations. Apart from it telephone access for the facilitators and a photocopier would be required a the conference/ training site. Other necessary equipments include a computer, printer, overhead projector, extension cords, LCD projector, projection screens, sound system microphones etc (WHO, n.d.).
