Product: Amazon Fire Phone

The product I am going to analyze in this final project will be the Amazon Fire Phone. The position I will take is its failure to become successful. Throughout this paper I will analyze the factors as to why this was unsuccessful, why it’s cost went down in an ultimate spiral, and what precautions they should have taken before releasing it.

 Since Amazon is such a broad market place, I will also analyze the target market they were planning on catching, as well as the situation analysis, and whether or not the release was a good time or not. Furthermore, the in depth details about why after one month, the product went from $199, to 99 cents. Their failure to compete in the smartphone market was due overall to their knowledge of their competitors capabilities.
