There is a Meck case on river blindness i was asked to analyze the case and say why they should invest.Currently I am speaking about their social corporate responsibility and based on the information from the case it seems to the Meck alone have the information to develop the drug however upon developing the drug no one can afford it so the real question is if they should give it away for free.I am thinking it is a ethical obligation since they alone have the information and the drug they should give it way for free given if its only saving a small portion of people. In addition the company csr report said that they care more about the patient as profits will then follow. Am I on the right track?
