  • I don't understand the step where you multiply the top and bottom by x^3. Are you factoring it?

  • No, for the numerator I have taken out the one x from the (pi x + 1) and x^2 form the (3 - x^2). Similarly for denominator I have take out x^3 from the (x^3 - pi), You can check this by multiplying the terms.
