What point between A and B would have the least contamination if factory A emits twice as much smoke as factory B?
-Sketch the graph of a continuous function f such that: f(1)(x)&lt;0 if x&lt;3
-Decide in each case whether the mean value theorem is applicable. In affirmative cases find the possible values of c: a). f(x) = x2 + 3x − 1; [−3, 1]
b). f(x) = x3 − x2 − x + 1; [−1, 2]
